Officers
Founding of the Association
The Association was formed in mid 2004 by a core group of PWD that saw the necessity of forming an organization to give voice to the aspirations of PWD and fight for their rights and privileges. Since the association is still in its infancy there are no members to speak of to elect the officers that would run the organization, so the core group through concensus decided to assume the functions of the officers.
The core group were appointed to the following positions:
- President – Alfredo “Fred” C. Santos
- Vice President – Hilario “Bong” C. Diaz
- Secretary – Michael “Mhike” S. Miranda
- Treasurer – Juan C. Lee
- Auditor – Nora G. David, and
- P.R.O. – Pedro “Peter” M. Camato
The Local Government of Mabalacat recognized our organization as representing the PWD in the affairs of the municipality. We were inducted into office on December 10, 2004. Thus born the organization that would worked for the welfare of the PWDs in Mabalacat, Pampanga.
After three (3) years of strengthening the association and with sufficient number of members to choose new set of leaders to guide its course, an election was set on December 28, 2008, at Shakey’s Pizza, Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga.
Elected as new officers were as follows:
President – Mario “Super” B. Noble
Vice President – Hilario “Bong” C. Diaz
Secretary – Michael “Mhike” S. Miranda
Treasurer – Nora G. David
Auditor – Julie G. Pineda, and
P.R.O. – Esteban “Steve” C. Buan, Jr.
and ten (10) Board of Directors:
